Flexible and Durable
Our foam weather strip is made from high-quality EPDM rubber, which stays flexible even in extreme temperatures. It won’t harden, crack, or freeze, even at temperatures as low as -40°F. This means it will last a long time, saving you from the need for frequent replacements.

Energy Efficiency
The RuxEco weather strip forms a tight seal around doors and windows, blocking drafts and preventing energy loss. This helps keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, reducing the need for heating or cooling. The result? Lower energy bills and a more comfortable space all year long.

Easy DIY Installation
No need to call a professional! Our weather strips are easy to install yourself. The self-adhesive backing sticks to surfaces quickly and securely. You can simply measure, cut, and apply it around doors and windows for instant results. This saves you both time and money.

Perfect for Medium Gaps
The D profile is designed to fill medium to narrow gaps effectively, making it a great choice for doors and windows. It fits snugly into spaces where air might leak through, preventing drafts and improving insulation.

Resilient in All Weather
This weatherseal is built to last, even in cold climates. It maintains its shape and performance, bouncing back to its original form after exposure to harsh weather. You can trust it to protect your home season after season.

How to Install Self-Adhesive Weatherseal?

Installing RuxEco D Profile Self-Adhesive Foam Weather Strips on your windows and doors is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps:

Gather Your Materials
You’ll need the weather strips, a pair of scissors or a utility knife, and a tape measure. You might also want a clean cloth to wipe the area before installing.

Measure the Area
Measure the length of the gaps around your windows or doors. Use a tape measure to get an accurate measurement of each side where you plan to apply the strip. Write down the lengths so you know how much foam strip you’ll need.

Cut the Weather Strips
Unroll the weather strip and cut it to the length you need using scissors or a utility knife. Make sure to cut straight for a clean fit.

Clean & Apply the Weather Strip
Clean the area where you’ll install the strip. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt. Peel off the backing from the adhesive side of the weather strip. Carefully press the strip along the edges of the window or door frame. Press firmly to make sure it sticks well. Go along the entire edge, making sure there are no gaps or loose spots.

Test the Seal
Once installed, open and close the door or window to check the fit. The foam strip should fill the gap without stopping the door or window from moving smoothly. If done properly, you’ll start to notice fewer drafts, improved insulation, and more comfort in your home.

Where to Use Our Foam Self-Adhesive Weather Strips?

RuxEco D Profile Self-Adhesive Foam Weather Strips can be used in several areas of your home to improve insulation, block drafts, and keep your space comfortable. Here are the ideal places to install them:

Around Doors

Doors are one of the most common places for drafts. Install weather strips around the edges of exterior doors to block cold or hot air from entering. This also works well for interior doors leading to unheated spaces like basements, garages, or attics. The foam fills gaps, keeping your home’s temperature consistent.

Windows
Windows are another major source of energy loss. By applying our foam strips around window frames, you can seal any gaps that let air in. This helps maintain a comfortable temperature inside while keeping out cold winds or hot drafts. It's perfect for older windows that may not seal tightly.

Attic Hatches
Many homes lose heat through attic hatches. Placing weather strips around the edges of attic doors or hatches can help seal them tightly, preventing warm air from escaping into the attic during winter.

Garage Doors
Use the foam strips around the edges of your garage door to prevent cold air from coming in and warm air from escaping. This is especially useful if your garage is attached to your house and you want to improve insulation.

Gaps in Walls
If there are gaps between walls and windows or doors, foam weather strips can help fill these spaces, stopping air, dust, and even noise from entering. They work well in areas where caulking isn’t possible or effective.
